Sensibo, the IoT startup, that aims to teach your old A/C new tricks and transform it into a smart connected device, annonced a 2.6 million USD round. The round was led by motus ventures and lool ventures.
Sensibo also announced that they reached an agreement with the Indian A/C manufacturer, Blue Star. Blue Star is expected to integrate Sensibo's components into its devices.
Sensibo CEO Omer Enbar said, “For manufacturers, not enabling appliances to connect and communicate is a missed opportunity, but the associated R&D costs, hardware and software integration efforts and time to market have made it difficult and oftentimes not feasible. Sensibo Inside, on the other hand, can be preinstalled at the factory or retrofitted into any air conditioner and other appliances, in under 60 seconds.”
